Safe and Sustainable

Novastruct curtain walling uses straightforward material choices that maximise reuse and recycling potential at end of life.

Frame materials are 100% recyclable, and extruded aluminium contains more than 75% recycled content.

Design Considerations
Design Considerations

A comprehensive range of mullions and transoms enables façades to be designed with reduced structural intervention.

The selection of mullion is influenced by several factors:

  • The span (the distance between fixings to the supporting structure)
  • The mullion centres (up to 3.0m using FSX 100 curtain walling)*
  • Wind load (up to 2400 Pa)
  • Maximum infill weight (up to 700kg)
  • Deflection limits of the glazing system
  • Required drainage method; i.e. zone or mullion
